About Anthony

December 1976 Manila, Philippines
Introducing Anthony...

He comes from the far south of Manila.

His passion for the arts has been evident even at a young age. He joined theater arts and choral groups when he was in high school then studied music in college. He began composing his own songs at the age of 19 and was part of the defunct 90's rock band "Jellybeans" who recorded singles under Ivory Records and Vicor Music Philippines. Anthony also played piano for the famed Filipina "song bird" Regine Velasquez in her pilot TV episode on GMA 7's telenovela "Forever in my heart". He also made a couple of songs for the Focolare movement when he was in Italy circa 2000 (being part of the Focolare band in the Philippines called Gen Giubilo). Now, Anthony continues to share his life, his music,  his thoughts, virtually online.

Anthony is his second given name. However, he never uses this; and so, Introducing Anthony...

"C'mon take my hand and I'll bring you along, to another world. A world where stars don't ever shine, the moon orbiting the human eye, where hearts don't beat, but survive..."

Suffering

I have my share of sufferings, and I could say that more recently, I have suffered a lot. I have seen suffering among my family members, friends and people whom I do not even know. I happened to revisit the Book of Job and how he suffered.

DSLR Photography

I got my first DSLR Camera back in 2008. An office mate of mine sold it to me because he was upgrading his unit to the latest model at that time. Although I already have the 'point and shoot' type, being a shutterbug made me want to have the DSLR and also 'upgrade' unit.

Economical Party

We have four (4) kids, and yes all of them will celebrate their birthdays yearly ;) plus me and my wife for a grand total of 6 birthdays a year. So, we want to celebrate these occasions (of course) but we also do not want to spend too much on these so as to allocate "expenses" in priorities. Celebrating in a "cheaper" way does not have to look cheap.
